Leading building services company requires a Health, Safety & Environmental Officer to join the Northern Ireland Office.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to Director level, you will be responsible for the following:

• Provide Health & Safety input/ advice on a number of construction developments up to £10M.


• Monitor adherence to company policies & check effectiveness of current policies that are in place.


• Liaise with subcontractors on all health, safety, environmental & quality issues during the design, construction, commissioning & handover of schemes.


• Provide training & feedback to assist others with the implementation of H&S standards.


• Create, update and maintain all internal quality related documentation, working procedures and standard documents.


• Take part in site progress meetings & report in senior management meetings.

 Essential Criteria:

The ideal candidate should possess:

• NEBOSH Certificate / Diploma


• Previous similar experience with a construction/ consultancy


• Previous site exposure


• Excellent communication skills


• Computer literate


• Enthusiastic & hardworking attitude


• Driving Licence

 Applicants with experience within a building services environment would be at an advantage.
