·        Junior/Intermediate role

·        Design experience within construction industry required

·        Joinery and/or fit out is admirable, not essential!

·        Project experience – £100k to £1m

·        Timber frames specialists and house designers/builders

Requirements

·        Construction experience

·        Qualification in design (AutoCAD)

·        Passion and drive for design

·        Desire to progress within design career

Salary

·        Experience dependant: £18k - £25k

The Company

Based in Castledawson, this timber frame company work closely with architects, designers and contractors to being their experience and expertise to all projects.

With large residential and domestic projects, this leading joinery company have a requirement for a designer. Producing high detailed drawings of all aspects of the house, working closely with highly experience staff and developing your career within a great company with a tightknit family background.  

Tasks and Responsibilities

·        Produce detailed construction drawings

·        Detailed drawings of furniture, doors, screens etc

·        Meeting deadlines for drawings

·        Liaising with clients/sub-contractors, your design team, and any other people involved in the process

·        Proficient in AutoCAD

·        Overseeing projects as they pass go through manufacturing process

·        Visiting sites to discover more detail about projects

·        Helping with administration if needs be
