Job Title: Assistant Business Analyst

Working Hours: 37 hours
Salary: £17k - £22k
Job Description
The role involves the production of weekly and monthly operational reports for the management team. The successful candidate will work very closely with numerous operational departments to provide ad hoc analytical assistance and support with problem solving.
Essential Criteria
o Minimum of 2 A level passes of equivalent
o OR – Significant relevant business related experience
o Minimum of 1 years’ experience within an analytical business environment
o Good communicator both verbally and written
o Good numerical skills
o Logical thinker
o Comprehensive IT skills with ability to use office packages – particularly Excel
o Successful applicants will take part in an interview as well as a Microsoft excel test
Key responsibilities
o Managing internal management reports – e.g. Business performance reports
o Liaise with operational departments to improve reporting
o Extraction of data from core systems and turn them into information for management
o Update and monitor activity on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
o Document management and management of change of systems
o Complaint resolution
o Compliance with standards of service
