Bid Manager - Meath

A growing Building contractor in Co. Meath is currently recruiting for an experienced Bid Manager to manage the tender process across business units.

The company has built a strong reputation over its 70+ year history for delivering construction and fit-out projects of varying sizes to a wide number of clients.

They have grown steadily and are currently looking for an experienced Bid professional to manage their tendering from initial stages through to project award.

Duties:

• Lead in new bids from concept through to fruition ensuring offers are clearly articulated, cost estimate is adjudicated and signed off and final submissions are reviewed
• Produce a bid strategy and brief tender team
• Ensure correct selection of subcontractors and suppliers for key packages and organise distribution of tender documents/amendments for appropriate parties
• Develop presentations to potential clients using graphic design skills and utilise external graphic designers and printers
• Responsibility for the quality of all aspects of the bid, including written documentation and presentations, ensuring that written work is clear, concise and compelling
• Attend hand-over meeting briefing the team on tender bids.

The Person

·         Degree in relevant discipline

·         Demonstrable experience in writing / managing bids

·         5 + Years’ experience in a similar role.

·         Strong communicator

·         Organised, concise with strong leadership skills
