Civil Estimator/ Civil Engineer 

Engineers with civils experience are strongly encouraged to apply. This role is well‑suited to civil engineers interested in moving into estimating and pre‑construction.

You'll be joining a growing civil engineering contractor delivering complex infrastructure projects across the UK & Ireland. What You'll Be Doing 

You'll support the pricing and tendering of major civils projects, working closely with planners, QS teams, and engineers. The role combines technical understanding with commercial analysis and offers strong long-term development. 

Key responsibilities: 

1. Preparing estimates for earthworks, deep digs, roads & highways 
2. Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project requirements 
3. Supporting tender programmes and methodologies 
4. Managing subcontractor enquiries and comparisons 
5. Building cost models and structured pricing breakdowns 
6. Working with QS teams to align pricing with commercial strategy 
7. Providing clear assumptions, risks, and value considerations 
8. Hybrid working with flexibility built in

Who You Are 

You may already be an estimator, or you may be a civil engineer with strong analytical skills and an interest in the commercial side of project delivery.
