What You'll Be Doing 

You'll take the lead on programme planning for high-value civils projects, ensuring delivery teams have clear, accurate, and achievable schedules. This role is central to project success  you'll be the person who keeps everything aligned, coordinated, and moving. 

Your responsibilities include: 

  • Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes using P6 
  • Working across earthworks, deep digs, roads & highways 
  • Collaborating with engineers, QS teams, estimators, and site managers 
  • Identifying risks, delays, and opportunities within the programme 
  • Supporting tender programmes and pre‑construction planning 
  • Providing regular progress updates and reporting to senior leadership 
  • Travelling 2 days per fortnight, with hybrid flexibility built in 
  • Ensuring programme logic, sequencing, and critical paths are accurate and robust

Who You Are 

You're a detail-driven planner with strong civils experience - or a civil engineer ready to step into planning with the right support. You understand sequencing, logic, and programme risk, and you're confident using P6 to bring clarity to complex projects. 

You'll thrive here if you have: 

  • Experience in civils planning or engineering Strong P6 skills (essential) 
  • Ability to manage programme risk and communicate clearly 
  • Willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland
