Role: Construction Manager
Salary: £45,000-£50,000 (DOE)

The opportunity has arisen to join an industry leader in the UK’s Building Services providers. they design, develop and deliver a wide range of offsite-prefabricated, innovative and sustainable building service solutions throughout the UK & Ireland.
Client specialises in the design, supply, and installation of a wide range of Prefabricated energy solutions, typically built in NI and shipped throughout the UK & Ireland. They also offer turnkey design, build & operate solutions for commercial energy centers and large-scale district heating solutions and have experience with successfully procuring and delivering many similar packages to a wide range of public bodies throughout Ireland & UK.
They are currently looking to fill the role of a Construction Manager to support their growing Operations Team based in Co. Down. This post is a permanent contract and offers an amazing opportunity for a candidate who wants to gain experience with a progressive and dynamic company to further your career.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate would be working in conjunction with an established commercial project management team and alongside their in-house M&E design team, who operate with the latest Revit, AutoCAD & MEP 3D design packages, hence previous experience working on commercial M&E projects at a manager’s level is essential.
While this role is aimed at an Electrically biased Construction Manager, the successful candidate will be required to manage and lead other aspects of individual projects such as fabrication and mechanical/assembly. Although extensive experience is not required in these fields the successful candidate must be willing and able to diversify into these areas and support their own Projects Teams as and when required.
Most of their projects are currently based throughout the UK and Europe and predominantly commercial M&E laid installation with a small section Construction. Any experience in construction would be beneficial but not essential.

Travel requirements:
This role is aimed to be predominantly office based at our extensive headquarters in Banbridge. There will be a requirement to attend frequent site meetings for example to meet client representatives, carry out site surveys, assess site progress, meet sub-contractors, assist with co-ordination plant operational checks & final commissioning. While travel within this role will be limited, it would be reasonable to assume that during certain stages of a project, intermittent travel/site visits would be required throughout the UK and Europe. The frequency of these visits are flexible depending on job requirements.
