A Co. Armagh based Construction Maintenance Company has an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Estimator to join the organisation. As an Electrical Estimator you will produce timely cost proposals for various maintenance and refurbishment works.

• Manage the enquiry process with the supply chain and appraise quotations for both technical and commercial viability.
• Attend site surveys as required. 
• Prepare a tender summary sheet with key tender information (e.g., Return dates / duration etc.) 
• Carefully vet all tenders to ensure that all documentation received is in accordance with the tender enquiry detail. 
• Prepare detailed take offs to produce an accurate tender price for submission to clients. 
• Prepare tender risk analysis. 
• Monitor the progress of submitted tenders. 
• Ensure that all tenders submitted include detailed terms of the items excluded as necessary. 
• Attend pre-contract meeting and handover with PM team. 
• Have the technical knowledge and skill to complete design and build project tenders. 
• Develop and secure existing and new business relationships/projects. 
• Produce management reports as required

Criteria:

• Experienced in tendering for a variety of electrical works with a track record of successful bids. 
• Self-motivated and determined to achieve results. 
• Deadline driven. 
• Commercially aware 
• Able to consider strategic and analytical issues. 
• A positive team player 
• In possession of strong presentation and inter-personal skills 
• Strong in IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
