You will join an environment where there is great pride in the employees and a shared commitment that they have to be the best in the industry. As a core member of the team, the Electrical Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the following:

• Assist in the preparation, processing and administration of client account applications.
• Liaise with Contract Managers to establish the project requirements and assist in the premeasurement / surveying of job costs in accordance with the PSA schedule of rates.
• Production of detailed and accurate measures for data input onto the QUDOS system to establish rates.
• Prepare and submit monthly applications for payment to the Client/Client’s representative, ensuring all supporting paperwork & documents are collated & attached to reduce queries or delay applications.
• Submit invoices for certified value and ensure payments are received on time.
• Responding to queries on unapproved and outstanding jobs.
• Value and authorise payments to subcontractors.
• Prepare monthly valuation reports for the Management team as appropriate.
• Attend and contribute to meetings with work colleagues and or Clients/Customers when necessary.
• Monitor the contract progress, assess and report any changes that may affect project costs e.g labour costs etc.
• Ensure all necessary contract documentation / reports are accurate and produced on time.
