Emergency gas engineers required to provide the 24/7 first response gas emergency service in line with agreed standards and safety procedures. The successful applicant will also be involved with installation and repair and exchange of meters.

Key Accountabilities: 

Safely provide 24/7 first response gas emergency service in line with company standard operating procedures and service 

Undertake out of hours standby duties as per rota

Undertake all gas work inline with ACS, IGEM and other relevant standards in a safe and productive manor

Provide updates on all work related activities as required including documentation of all work undertaken and any unsafe situations encountered

Account and document all assets, materials and parts used in all activiites. 

Maintain company provided vehicle and tools and PPE  in good working order

Take part in ongoing training and development

Essential Criteria: 

ACS -CCNI & NVQ in Gas Installation and Maintenance or Plumbing or equivalent 

Min of 1 years post apprenticeship experience in gas utilisation 

Customer services experience 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desireable skills: 

Gas appliance service and maintenance skills or experience 

MET1, REGT1 

These are full time permanent positions, working 37.5 hours per week. Full training, company van, tools and personal protective equipment will be provided.

The successful candidates will be required to participate in after-hour standby duties as per the programmed rota, for which they will receive standby/callout payments. The annual salary for this role will be between £19,500 - £21,000 per annum, depending on the level of experience and we also offer productivity bonus arrangements circa £3,000 per annum (OTE £29,500).
