Description

CSR are working with a leading Façade/Architectural Glazing Company from the Co Antrim Area in their pursuit of a Senior Façade Design Engineer.

The company are one of the leaders in the Uk Façade & Architectural Glazing Sector completing projects for some of the most well know National Contractors, and they now require a senior member to join their design team as a design manager. 

The company has an impressive portfolio which includes high end hotels, retail stores, healthcare buildings, lesire centres and educational buildings and their projects span across the province and further afield to the UK including London, Liverpool and Manchester. 

The Role

As façade design manager, you will be tasked with managing a diverse range of detailed design drawings for some of the most architecturally sophisticated buildings in the construction industry. Reporting to the technical director, you will provide direction and support to the design office and operational teams throughout the design, procurement and installation stages of each project.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate system designs to meet tender and/or design intent


• Update design processes


• Provide design solutions and material specifications


• Review tender documentation against project specification


• Liaise with Architect and Client


• Attend pre-contract design meetings


• Production of detailed CAD drawings for client approval

Requirements

• Proven experience in a lead design role within the façade/architectural glazing sector


• Strong AutoCAD experience


• Excellent Communication Skills


• Strong Commercial Awareness
