We are seeking a diligent Fire Warden for a large-scale M&E project. This role is critical for maintaining site safety, particularly during "Hot Works" and equipment installation phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Hot Works Oversight: Monitoring welding, grinding, and soldering areas to ensure fire extinguishers are present and no ignition occurs.
- Fire Path Inspections: Ensuring all emergency exits, fire call points, and extinguishers are unobstructed and functional.
- Evacuation Coordination: Leading site drills and assisting in the orderly evacuation of the workforce during emergency alarms.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a safety-critical role on Irish sites.
- Certifications: Valid Safe Pass and a recognized Fire Warden/Fire Safety certificate.
- Manual Handling: In-date certificate (Training can be provided if necessary).
- PPE: Must have own standard PPE (Hard hat, High-vis, Steel-toe boots).
- Skillset: Proven ability to follow complex safety instructions and work within a highly regulated, high-quality finish environment.
