Groundworks Foreman - Dublin

CSR is working with a leading contractor to recruit an experienced Groundworks Foreman for a project in South Dublin. Due to continued steady growth they’re looking for an experienced and motivated person to join an already existing team.

The company has built a strong reputation throughout Ireland delivering numerous successful infrastructural works. Their portfolio consists of many high-profile projects and include works on Pharmaceutical, Data Projects, Site Development and Road Projects among others.

The Role:

• Management of sub-contractors, labourers and onsite staff
• Management and control of health and safety issues
• Ordering and control of materials on site.
• Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
• Reading & interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc.
• Take control of the Groundworks

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a strong site background
• Previous experience working on drainage projects
• Previous experience as a Groundwork's foreman
• Adaptable, motivated and uses own initiative
• Ability to communicate strategy to the wider team
• Proven record of seeing projects through from beginning to completion
• Background in large scale, commercial / mixed development construction
