The CSR Group have been retained by an expanding Fit out contractor, based in Belfast, to source a HSEQ advisor for what will be a brand new role within the company.

Responsible for co-ordinating the Health & Safety arrangements within a multidiscipline working environment, the successful candidate will play a key role in assisting the continual development and improvements in the clients Health & Safety culture, management systems and legal compliance.

Packages range from £25-35k

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out site inspections/ audits, ensuring that regulations and other legal requirements are observed on all premises and sites. This will be supported by associated photographic evidence and documented reports.
• Ensure HSEQ procedures are being adhered to within all business units.
• Work closely with the Contracts Team to mobilise Construction Phased Health & Safety plans of the contracts.
• Issue Health & Safety Templates to the internal team.
• Assist with internal audits of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001
• Monitor and report on site accidents and incidents, reporting through internal procedures and relevant Director.
• Support and advise on HSEQ Management and compliance.
• Work with department managers to implement a Health & Safety culture.
• Promote a proactive H&S approach/attitude among employees and site staff.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties as necessitated by your function. 

Key Skills:

• Previous experience within a Health & Safety role. Direct experience of working on site/construction projects would be preferable.
• NEBOSH or IOSH qualified.
• CSCS/CSR holder
• Strong familiarity with Health & Safety standards/accreditation.
• I.T. literate.
• Excellent communicator with strong written skills and the ability to influence operational teams.
• Good ability to manage own work and time is essential.
• Must have access to own transport.
• Flexibility for travel to customer sites when required.
