A rapidly expanding Mechanical Services contractor is winning new business across the UK and Ireland. They have made a number of recent appointments and continue to add to their talented team.

In line with this growth the company wishes to appoint a Head of Mechanical Projects reporting directly to the Managing Director and business owner. Needless to say this is a senior appointment with the opportunity to progress to a director of the business in  short succession.

You will be proven in mechanical contracts and project management with installation experience across the UK, e.g. hotel refurbishment, new build student accomodation, leisure centres or newly constructed office blocks. Given that projects will be in any part of the UK and Ireland, travel will be expected but will not be for extended periods, it will take the form of brief visits and occasional overnight stays might be necessary.

This is a senior role with responsibility for:

- overall leadership for the mechanical projects throughout UK and Ireland

- effective resource allocation for the individual jobs and ensuring staff are aware of what's needed

- be actively involved in recruiting for personnel on the projects, conducting interviews etc

- report to company directors and attend board meetings regularly
