Our client is a training provider for the construction industry based in mid Down. Due to current workloads and planned growth they have a need for an additional full time trainer who can train and assess on a range of courses and awards. Job Summary

This is a full time position with occasional weekend work as and when required. The candidate will be based at and work mainly from their training centre with occasional travel required throughout Ireland and the UK. We are looking for candidates with particular core qualifications and skills, who must have a full driving licence.

Responsibilities and Duties

·         Have excellent communication skills.

·         Deliver accredited health and safety courses such as CSR, Site Safety Plus, Lantra, Cabwi, IOSH, IPAF, PASMA, NOCN (NVQ and CPCS), NPORS.

·         Train and Assess a wide range of Plant and Equipment across different accredited bodies such as CPCS, CSR, NPORS, NOCN

·         Train and Assess a wide range of Plant and Equipment for Non-accredited Client specifications.

·         Deliver non-accredited and client specific training courses

·         Develop new/ update existing course material

·         Ensure that health, safety and environmental risks are adequately assessed and controlled in respect of own job

Qualifications and Skills Required

·         NEBOSH National General Certificate

·         PTTLS or Level 3 Award in Education and Training

·         A1 Assessor Awards or Equivalent

·         CPCS Tester Card

Qualification and Skills Desirable

·         Additional Awarding Bodies Instructor and Assessor Status
