CSR are looking for a Health and Safety officer to join a leading Northern Irish Fit Out contractor for various projects throughout NI, UK and Europe

Salary: £20 - £25k  DOE

Our client a family run Fit Out firm based in Northern Ireland are looking for a Health and Safety officer to join them permanently based in their office near South Belfast.

There will be minimal travel outside of NI, one or two days a month.

Main Responsibilities:

Carry out safety inspections on site (checking correct PPE worn, plant certificates, CSR cards etc)

Producing reports to coincide with inspections

Producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements

Organise employees training courses

Liaise with Health and Safety Manager

Accident and incident investigation experience

Evidence of working knowledge of quality standards, audit procedures and integrated management systems.

Must have relevant experience (preferably 1-2 years in a similar role)

Qualifications:

Should have either an IOSH managing safely certificate or be NEBOSH qualified

Strong knowledge of Health & Safety on site.

Experience on fit out or building projects would be advantageous
