The CSR Group have been retained by one of the region’s most prominent Mechanical & Electrical contractors to appoint a Contracts Director to lead a number of ongoing projects across Northern Ireland and central London.

The company is based in Northern Ireland with a portfolio of highly attractive projects in and around London as well as locally.

As a Contracts Director, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, ensuring project success, and upholding the reputation for excellence. Your expertise will be crucial in achieving project objectives, maintaining client satisfaction and assisting in driving the growth of our client. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of multiple projects and site teams, working closely with the Managing Director to continue to strive with their proposed growth plan.

Duties will include:

· Lead and oversee all phases of the MEP element in construction and social housing projects, from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

· Cultivate strong and lasting relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, understanding their needs and expectations to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.

· Develop and manage project budgets, financial forecasts, and cost controls, ensuring projects remain financially viable.

· Identify potential risks and challenges, and proactively implement strategies to mitigate them, maintaining project progress and minimising disruptions.

· Ensure all projects adhere to relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.

· Maintain a strong focus on quality control and assurance, consistently delivering projects that meet or exceed client expectations.

· Plan, as well as make decisions to prevent problems and any emerging ones.

· Coordinate and direct the activities of M&E workers and the respective subcontractors.

· Cultivate and grow the various company divisions by mentoring and capturing learning to promote a culture of continuous improvement and better practice.

· Contributing with fresh ideas on strategy, business planning, and service delivery that will challenge normal practice.

· Attend weekly meetings to keep the management team fully informed of site issues, progress and performance of the team.

Total package negotiable but expected (with bonuses etc) to be in the region of £80,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
