An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager with a leading building services contractor in NI.

The company are currently expanding their operational team and wish to bring in an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to oversee multiple commercial projects that include New Build Education & Healthcare projects.

As the Mechanical Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the planning & delivery of projects to agreed scopes of work and contracts, including the management of time constraints, cost and quality.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure the effectiveness of the mechanical installation, so you will be managing labour, Project Engineers and subcontractors ensuring compliance with specification and contract documentation.

Other duties include:

• Ensure all company & department health & safety requirements are complied with
• Ensure each engineering contract operation is carried out profitably and on time
• To attend client meetings, design meetings and site meetings
• Coordinate daily activities of directly employed operatives and agency operatives
• Handover contracts on completion and manage aftercare issues

To apply for the role you must have proven track record of working as Contracts Manager/ Project Manager within the M&E Sector and illustrate a strong working history of delivering new build projects. You must be able to demonstrate your skills managing direct labour, subcontractors, procurement, Health & Safety and be able to show an understanding of the financial control of contracts.

An average of 1 night travel per week to mainland UK will be expected.
