Planning & Development Officer (Surveyor)

Salary:  £16/£17 Per Hour (Equates to £31k per annum)

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to manage, develop and implement the planning and development of the related department/estate to meet the needs of all users through:

·         Estate planning, development and implementation

·         Supporting the development and delivery of Area Planning

·         Assisting in the delivery of capital projects

Essential Criteria:

At time of application applicants must:

• Have a Degree in Project Management, Building Surveying or Construction related discipline;
• Have a minimum of 3 years post-graduation experience in the following areas:

Ø  Management in the delivery of capital projects;

Ø  Surveying (Building Condition, measurement recording etc)

Ø  Computer Aided Design (CAD)

Desirable Criteria:

Applicants should demonstrate experience in:

1.       Estate planning or management

2. The education or public sector.

3.       NEC 3 Suite of Contracts;

Applicants must hold a full, current, valid driving licence and have use of a car  - or demonstrate that they can meet the travel requirements of the post by alternative means -  and be prepared to work outside ‘normal office hours’.
