Our Client, one of the leading Irish Civil Engineering contractors, with a multi-national presence, is seeking to appoint a Health & Safety Advisor for a range of projects across the UK.

Based in East Anglia, you will be reporting directly to the company Health & Safety Director and need to be committed to a multi-site based role.

This is an immediate vacancy and candidates with 4+ years’ experience on large Civil Engineering projects is desirable, you must have experience working on Civil Engineering contracts.

The successful candidate should possess the following qualities;

·         Professionally qualified within SHEQ field (Civil Engineering Industry Experience is a distinct advantage)

·         NEBOSH Cert in Construction

·         Proven track record as an operational SHEQ officer within the Construction industry.

·         Thorough knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation /issues.

·         Evidence of working knowledge of quality standards, audit procedures and integrated management systems.

·         Competent in construction phased Health & Safety Plans.

·         Accident and incident investigation experience.

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.

·         Evidence of working effectively within a team.

·         IT literate.

·         A full valid UK driving licence.
