An excellent opportunity exists for a Quantity Surveyor to be involved on Commercial New Build Projects in Co. Antrim & Belfast regions.

Having gained a minimum of 2-3 years' experience with a contracting or consultancy environment, this role will allow you the opportunity to develop with a main contractor with a strong presence within the Province. 

Based between site & head office, you will carry out the following responsibilities:

• Preparation of Applications for Payment and Internal Valuations;
• Cost to complete and CVR documentation in line with the relevant timetable;
• Preparation of bills of quantities, tenders and contracts for projects;
• Prepare and analyse commercial reports;
• Provide commercial support to operations team;
• Advise on procurement strategy and commercial risk;
• Preparation and agreement of variations with the client and to maximise opportunity where appropriate.

The individual will possess the following:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Min 2 years' working experience
• Contracting or Consultancy experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications
• Excellent people skills

This role will allow the successful QS to develop their career within the NI market (no UK mainland/ ROI travel).
