A Top 5 Main contractor is wishing to recruit a Project Quantity Surveyor. The Quantity Surveyor will be joining a company who boast a project portfolio throughout the UK of large scale commercial, residential, healthcare & leisure projects.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be required to oversee all commercial matters on £25M+ project at a time, acting as commercial lead on site and liaising with the required team members when necessary. You will be predominantly focusing your efforts into projects within the Mixed-Use and Commercial Sector.

Your responsibilities will include;

• Monthly CVRs
• KPI's
• Sit in on weekly project reviews with Contracts Director as required
• Work closely with Contracts Management team
• Attend de-brief meetings at end of Projects
• Sit on Monthly Management Meeting and be informed on all projects allocated within your team
• Cost Valuation Reporting
• Undertake Site Visits
• Submission & Negotiation of Final Accounts
• Validating Subcontractor Applications
• Prepare Monthly Cost Reconciliation for Division Manager

THE PERSON

The suitable Quantity Surveyor will have a Main Contractor background and project experience of £5M+. They will also have experience of:

• Knowledge of Current Forms of Contract
• Experience with Mixed Use/Commercial
• BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum of 3-4 years post-graduate experience.
