The Company

The Company one of NI & the UKs most Established Construction Companies have a very exciting pipeline of projects both current and future and require a junior-intermediate level Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on the Civil Engineering side.

The Role

The successful Quantity Surveyor will be involved on an exciting new project in the Manchester Area and the following responsibilities will be expected:

• Preparation and submission of tender documents.
• Assist with detailed breakdown of build costs for each stage of work.
• Assist with the subcontract & plant procurement/payment.
• Measurement and valuation of works both on site and from drawings for variations and final accounts.
• Liaise with project team on variations to project.
• Keep record of weekly/ monthly sub-contract valuation.
• Meet clients and attend site meetings to review and discuss work carried out.
• Preparation and submission of interim valuation reports.
• Cost value reporting

Requirements

• Third Level degree in a relevant discipline
• A competitive salary will be on offer for the successful Quantity Surveyor
• Minimum 2 years' experience Quantity Surveying Experience to include placement year.
