Quantity Surveyor (Civils, No UK travel!)

Level: Considering from 3-4 years right up to a senior level QS with 10+ (Intermediate/Senior)

The Opportunity

CSR are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor with civils background for a large scale roads project in Derry. The post will require NO UK TRAVEL as the project is solely NI, and will be devised of being site based for the majority of the time in Derry.
The QS must have some civils background, preferably roads (doesn’t have to be 100% civils) and the client will want a start preferably in March (or soon as possible).

Experience:

·         Cost preparation

·         Cost analysis

·         Sub-Contractor management

·         Variations

·         Final accounts

·         Valuations

Duties:

·         Preparation of cost reports

·         Identifying commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering and change

·         Utilising the cost system

·         Involvement in meetings when required

·         Contract administration

·         Managing cost control/mitigation
