CSR is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor on behalf of our client, to work on various Fit-out Projects based throughout the UK & Ireland, in particular Dublin & London. 

Having successfully delivered complex, high-end projects in residential, commercial & hospitality sectors, this role allows you to be NI Based with travel required to mainland UK one night per fortnight on average.

As a Fit-out Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of fit-out projects, ensuring cost effectiveness, budget control, and timely delivery. Your role will involve collaborating closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide accurate cost estimates, cost control measures, and comprehensive project documentation. The ideal QS will have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience within a contracting/ PQS environment.

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for fit-out projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to develop and refine project budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and cost limitations.
• Conduct regular cost analysis and reporting to track project expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Monitor and control project cash flow, including assessing and approving interim valuations and payments.
• Identify and manage potential risks and variations throughout the project lifecycle, providing proactive advice and recommendations to mitigate financial impacts.
• Participate in project progress meetings and provide financial updates and forecasts to stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and pricing fluctuations to ensure accurate and competitive cost assessments.

The successful Surveyor will have a degree or be working towards a QS qualification along with 2-3 years' experience.

You will have excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy, a solid understanding of cost control, budgeting, and financial management principles.

You will also have strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
