Our client, a medium sized owner-managed building contractor is currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team at their Tyrone base. 

An award winning builder across the commercial, educational and private housing sectors they undertake projects within NI.

Wishing to appoint a Quantity Surveyor, you will have a minimum of 4/5 years' experience and carry out the following:

Key Responsibilities

• Production of sub-contractor tender documents, procurement and financial management of Sub-contractors from approved list
• Production of and management of scheme budgets
• Production of monthly valuations, cash flow forecasts and CVR's
• Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations
• Prepare, submit and negotiate final accounts
• Value Engineering costing and submission
• Able to work well in a team based environment

SKILLS

•  Degree level qualification in QS or similar, Alternatively HNC/HND with suitable industry experience

• Self-motivated, commercially astute and a team player
• A desire to progress within their role to enable progression within the company.
• Excellent communication and motivational skills
