Regional Operations Manager

A Leading Distributor to the NI Technical Specialist Industry market has a new opportunity for a Regional Operations Manager to join the organisation in Northern Ireland.

The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for:

  • The deliverables of customer contractual commitments for all Insites, whilst continuously building and maintaining a strong working relationships with its key stakeholders.
  • Will focus on delivering customer service excellence and manage the sign-off of cost saving initiatives and maintain up to date customer KPI reports in line with contract and customer expectations.
  • Possess detailed knowledge of customers business/functionality and work to drive efficiencies within the business.
  • This important role will provide accountability and leadership for the end to end service delivery and contractual commitments, whilst delivering the financial benefits of strategic customer contracts.
  • Maintaining positive and productive relationships is of paramount importance, as is the development of effective and proactive relationships with senior customer statekholders and contacts across procurement, engineering and maintenance functions.
  • Strategic direction and leadership of relevant account portfolio to drive profitable growth that aligns to the corporate strategy

The successful Regional Operations Manager will have the following experience:

  • Comfortable operating in a fast paced, high volume, highly commercial, matrix environment.
  • Presence & gravitas to support the business internally and externally.
  • Ability to review situations from a number of different perspectives.
  • Dynamic, innovative and results-orientated.
  • Commercial, numerate and financially literate.
  • Structured and organised - with appropriate level to planning and detail, and ability to quickly drive to the root cause of problems and help generate solutions/recovery.
  • Confident operating in both the detail of processes and in managing senior customer and supplier relationships.
  • A passion to engage teams to deliver service excellence and business results.
  • A drive to continuously look for improvement opportunities, and to make things work better.
  • New business planning, development and implementation to demanding customer requirements.
  • Extensive customer relationship management experience and a strong customer service ethos.
  • Drive and determination to develop excellence throughout the provision of the services portfolio.
  • A conscientious and disciplined attention to detail with the proven ability to drive and deliver profitable growth.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience of 'profit engineering' contracts and services.
  • An effective working style to ensure strong and collaborative relationships exist within other business functions
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • An individual who will gain credibility and win respect across the organisation.
  • Process awareness and system skills. Full Clean Drivers Licence.
  • Confidence with a drive to challenge and develop the performance to the next level.
