Senior Administrator - Construction

 

Job Role - Document Controller.

Location - Co. Antrim

Working Hours - Monday - Thursday, 8am - 5pm; Friday, 8am - 3pm.

Salary - Negotiable. 

 

Our client, a leading construction contractor that specialises within the Fitout and Refurbishment market has a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrator to join its team.

Based in Co. Due to continued growth, they now wish to appoint a Senior Administrator to become a key part of our organisation, through taking ownership of the Enterprise Document Management System, and providing support to project teams and senior management.

 

Minimum Responsibilities of Role:

  • Process system documents daily, including uploading & downloading drawings / documents.
  • Maintain accurate document record logs
  • Provide an interface to IT Support for Document Control issues
  • Once trained to ensure that all system users are provided with adequate training and support to enable them to successfully adhere to Enterprise Document Management System
  • Monitor compliance against the policies and procedures for Document control providing advice and guidance to address problems
  • Provide administrative support to project teams and all departments.
  • Build, manage & maintain relationships with clients, contractors, other construction professionals, suppliers and staff who interact with the system.

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Excellent computer skills including the ability to operate all Microsoft Office packages efficiently.
  • One years' successful experience on digital system inputting
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Organised, process-based and structured approach to your work with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must be a self-starter with a proactive attitude, results-oriented focus; and willing and capable to assume additional responsibilities.

 

Desirable Criteria:

  • Two years' experience Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS user with knowledge/experience of using Viewpoint for Projects and/or other EDMS systems).
  • Data/Document control experience within a construction or engineering setting
