Senior Engineer – Urgent (West Dublin)

CSR Construction is working alongside a Tier One Contractor who urgently requires a senior engineer for a large scale multimillion euro project in West Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to excel in your career. The Senior Engineer must display strong technical ability and experience in the supervision and management of RC and steel structures, and good communication skills. Criteria:

·                 Engineering Degree/Diploma

·                 Strong technical ability

·                 Management experience of RC and steel structures

·                 Proficiency in use of Engineers Level, GPS/Total Station

·                 Must have a minimum of 5+ years’ site experience

·                 Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·                 Good IT skills and strong understanding of all Microsoft Office programmes.

·                 Hard working

·                 Experience leading a team

·                 Full driving license

Duties:

·                 Day to day running of Site and construction related issues

·                 Management of subcontractors/engineers on site

·                 Reporting to the Project Manager

·                 Setting-out from engineers’ drawings, site surveys, as-built drawings 

·                 Ordering and control of materials on site

·                 Attending meetings and giving insights                                                      

·                 Reading & interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc.           

·                 Maintaining an exceptional high standard of health and safety                                                               

·                 Planning works in an efficient manner to ensure programme targets are achieved          

·                 Liaise with client’s representatives/Design Team members as appropriate  

·                 Control and monitor site waste in accordance with the Company's Site Waste Minimisation and Management policy

·                 Ensure that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.
