An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Estimator/ Estimating Manager for a leading building contractor based in Co. Tyrone.

As a business they have a focus on Education, Healthcare & Housing sectors with values up to £20M.

The aim of your role as the Senior Estimator will be to manage a small estimating team; this is a hands-on role where you will be obtaining the most competitive quotes by understanding the current market trends and to identify and report on risk and opportunity scope.

Duties:

• Review documents and prepare a report identifying project details
• Completing pricing preliminaries in conjunction with contractors
• Preparing a log of project risks
• Carrying out site visits and preparing reports
• Preparing a tender sum analysis/pricing/document/bill of quantities
• Taking of dimension drawings as required
• Assist in the preparation of submission documents
• Preparing cost plans
• Post tender financial negotiations
• Work with internal Bid Management team where applicable.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Minimum 4/5 years' experience working as an Estimator
• Building Contractor/ Specialist Sub-Contracting experience.

The Senior Estimator position will be an integral role, thus you must have experience working for a building contractor in a similar position.
