Senior Site Engineer - Belfast

CSR Construction has a new requirement for a Senior Site Engineer to work on a £6M Apartment development in Belfast City Centre. The building contractor has been operating for over 20 years, building an impressive portfolio of new build and refurbishment projects. The company requires a high level Engineer to join their team on this new development. The Engineer will be involved with the initial site set up, oversee remaining demolition work and see the project through to handover. This role will allow for a Senior Engineer to development into a more Management role.  Excellent salary and package with this position.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Degree / HND in Engineering
• Checking drawings and quantities and ensuring that the calculations are accurate for the work
• Planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet an agreed programme of deadlines
• Liaising with any consultants and/or sub-contractors engaged in the project
• Attending regular meetings with clients, architects and consultants, and keeping them informed of progress
• Supervising and monitoring the site labour force and monitoring the work of any subcontractors
• Overseeing quality control and safety matters on the site, and ensuring that regulations are adhered to
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise.
