Site Agent - Civil Contractor 

CSR CONSTRUCTION requires a Civil engineer to work with one of Northern Ireland's contractors currently involved in numerous projects throughout Ireland.

Mostly based in Northern Ireland, there may be some travel involved in the south 

The Role:

Position Description

• Reporting to the Project Manager, as the General Site Agent / engineer you are responsible for overseeing structure activity and staff, ensuring compliance with company procedures throughout.
• Management of sub-contractors, labourers and onsite staff
• Management and control of plant and equipment
• Management and control of health and safety issues
• Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
• Understand quality requirements from specifications and drawings and ensure compliance with both, on site
• Keeping up to date site diaries and paperwork
• Conducting Toolbox Talks and Health and Safety Briefings
• Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions and briefings
• Ensure competence of staff
• Hold and/or attend regular review/updating meetings with the wider team
• Provide regular updates on the progress of works to the site manager

Required Experience

• Excellent communication skills, including drafting of written documentation
• Able to work within a team
• Adaptable, motivated and uses own initiative
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Highly-organised

Minimum Requirements

• Previous experience working as a engineer. 5 years +
• Ability to communicate strategy to the wider team
• Experience of working within a collaborative environment
• Personal Track Safety Certification
• CSCS Certification
