Site Engineer - Kilkenny

CSR is looking for an ambitious and experienced Site Engineer who is wanting to not only excel in their career but challenge themselves as well. Our client is one of Irelands leading and progressive building companies, through steady growth and repeat clients they are looking to expand their team. They invest heavily in their staff and believe in a healthy work-life balance.

The project which is due to get started shortly is a medium sized Industrial project.

The Role 

• Reporting to the Senior Engineer
• Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
• Setting Out, level and survey the site
• Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
• liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
• Ensuring equipment and procedures comply with safety regulations
• Inspect facilities and analyse operational data

The Person

• 3 years+ experience
• Site Safety Pass
• Bachelor’s degree in construction, building, or related field
• In-depth knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, and design
• Effective manager of sub-contractors
